Initiating disciple making movements is easier said than done – but it can be done! Here is an encouraging perspective from CityTeam International’s Jerry Trousdale:

Every time [disciple making movement strategy] is tested in a new demographic, it takes a year or two or three of people just hitting their head against a rock, and then all of a sudden there are breakthroughs.

People say, “Wow, that’s instantaneous overnight success.” And we say, “Well, we’ve been praying and working hard for two or three years and nothing happened, and then all of a sudden God opens the door and you find that person of peace who ends up being a world changer.”
