5 groups, 3 generations

20184551_sMy last three posts explored the why, what and how of measuring disciple making movements.

None of that will add value to you, however, until you apply the following principle: You have to do it before you can measure it!

With that in mind, let me challenge you to do whatever is necessary to see five new Bible discussion groups start among unbelievers, and for those discussion groups to span three or more generations.

At least three things will happen if you make this challenge your goal:

1. You will learn and grow as a disciple maker. Each of us faces obstacles that can only be overcome by action, and that is the essence of growth.

2. You will develop a team of disciple makers from the harvest field. They are the ones who will disciple the 2nd and 3rd generations of Bible discussion groups.

3. You will lay the foundation for a disciple making movement. Five groups that span three generations is often the tipping point – may it be so for you to the glory of God!

Your turn:

  1. What makes this challenge worth accepting?
  2. How will you begin?
  3. What help do you need?
